Biography


Independent curator, art critic and professor, Dominique Moulon studied visual art at the Fine Art School (ENSA) in Bourges and holds a PhD in Arts and Sciences of the Art. Member of DAM (Digital Art Museum) and IKT (International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art), he has been curator for galleries including Ars Longa, Vanessa Quang, Julio Gonzalez, Vossen, Plateforme, 24 Beaubourg and Charlot, the art fairs Show Off and Variation, and the art centers Maison Populaire, in Montreuil, Cité internationale des arts, Canadian Cultural Centre, Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles, Topographie de l'Art, Capsule in Le Bourget, the NFT Gallery Addition in Seoul, Bozar and [Senne] Brussels. Since 2015, he has also been associate curator of the Nemo Biennial of the greater Paris. Member of AICA (International Association of Art Critics), he has written numerous articles for exhibition catalogues, collective works, and art magazines. Moulon currently writes for ArtPress, TK-21, ArtInTheDigitalAge and coordinates the MoocDigital.paris.


He is the author of the books Contemporary New Media Art (2011), Art And Digital Resonating (2015), Art Beyond Digital (2018) and Masterpieces of the 21st Century (2021). He is also a member of the Observatory of Digital Worlds in Humanities (OMNSH), the National Network for Hybrid Arts and Digital Cultures (HACNUM). He has taught at prestigious institutions such as Parsons School of Design in Paris, The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and EPSAA (Advanced Professional Graphic Design School), ECV (School of Visual Arts)
